The Journey of Wonky Worx
Wonky Worx began as a humble exploration into the world of glass art by Michael McMahon, an amateur glassblower with a passion for creativity. Inspired by the beauty of imperfection, Michael embraced the unique character of each piece he crafted. His journey started with simple experiments in glassblowing, gradually evolving into a full-fledged artistic endeavor. At Wonky Worx, we celebrate the quirks and individuality of each creation, reflecting a philosophy that values the charm of the unexpected. Our mission is to bring joy and inspiration through vibrant, handcrafted glass art that tells a story of dedication and artistic exploration.
Inspiration Behind the Art
The inspiration for Wonky Worx stems from a deep appreciation for the natural world and its inherent imperfections. Michael McMahon draws from the organic forms and vibrant colors found in nature, translating them into stunning glass art that captivates the eye. Each piece is a reflection of the belief that beauty is found in the unique and the unconventional. This philosophy not only guides the creative process but also influences the final pieces, making them a celebration of individuality and artistic freedom. At Wonky Worx, we believe that art should evoke emotion and spark curiosity, inviting viewers to see the world through a different lens.
